Unofficial election results will be posted on this page after the election.
In this municipal election, we are using online and telephone voting, and we will be tabulating our results through our electronic system. Our unofficial election results will be posted on this page as soon as possible following the close of the election at 8:00 p.m. Please kindly note that if there is any lineup of residents waiting to vote at our Election Help Centre, we are required to provide all of them an opportunity to cast their ballot before closing as they are entitled to vote if they are waiting in line before 8:00 p.m.
What are unofficial election results?
Following the close of an election, the Clerk of the municipality will tabulate the number of votes and post the results. These results are "unofficial" until such time that the Clerk can certify the results.
What are certified election results?
As soon as possible after voting day, the Clerk will certify the results and officially declare the election results.
