(Tiny, Ontario) Over the period of May 20 to 23, 2022, the Township of Tiny By-law Officers were on full patrol responding to calls ranging from noise enforcement, illegal use of fireworks on public property, and failure to obtain a burn permit.

As a result, Township By-law Officers patrolled a total of 385 km via bike patrol and responded to 81 complaints. By-law Officers issued 34 parking tickets for illegally parked vehicles. Please visit our website for current parking regulations at www.tiny.ca/parking

The Township of Tiny would like to remind the community that fireworks By-law 07-054, prohibits the display of or setting off of fireworks outside of Victoria Day, Canada Day, News Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day. The discharge of fireworks is strictly prohibited within the municipality outside of these four days. Concerns regarding non-compliance can be reported to the Municipal Law Enforcement Department at 705-526-4136. Non-compliance may result in the issuance of a warning, a charge with fines ranging from $365.00 to $100,000.00, or a Summons to appear in court.

All property owners in the Township are required to obtain a fire permit before having any outdoor fires. The cost is $25.00 per calendar year, plus a 5 percent processing fee for online transactions. The fine for failing to obtain a fire permit is $365.00, or a Summons to appear in court.

Municipal Law Enforcement Officers would like to remind the community of the 24/hour Noise By-law 21-028. Non-compliance may result in a fine of $365.00, or a Summons to appear in court.
