(Tiny, Ontario) Over the period of July 1 to 3, Township of Tiny By-law Officers were on full patrol responding to calls ranging from noise complaints to illegal parking and dog complaints.

Township By-law Officers patrolled a total of 256 km via bikes and responded to 72 complaints. By-law Officers issued 130 parking tickets for illegally parked vehicles. For current parking regulations visit the Township’s website at www.tiny.ca/parking.

The Township of Tiny would like to remind the community that fireworks By-law 21-102 prohibit the display of or setting off fireworks outside of Victoria Day, Canada Day, News Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day. The discharge of fireworks is strictly prohibited within the municipality outside of these four days. Concerns regarding non-compliance can be reported to the Municipal Law Enforcement Department at 705-526-4136. Non-compliance may result in the issuance of a warning, a charge with fines ranging from $365.00 to $100,000.00, or a Summons to appear in court.
