Ontario has spectacular parks and recreation services that help to foster personal health, strong communities, and social inclusion. Use this month to picnic in Perkinsfield Park, discover the Off-Leash Dog Park, or scrimmage at the Wyevale Soccer Pitches.

According to the last Canadian Census (2016), over 46% of the population in the Township of Tiny is over the age of 55. Use the month recognize seniors who built this community and impacted lives across generations. June is a time to celebrate the contributions seniors have made in communities across Ontario.

Free Virtual Summer Science Workshops

The Township of Tiny is excited to offer free virtual science workshops this summer in partnership with Scientists in School. Scientists in School develop high-quality Science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) enrichment workshops that empower children and youth, help them to understand the relevance of STEM in their world, and allow them to see themselves in science and STEM pathways, regardless of gender identification, ethnicity, academic success, disabilities, and other societal barriers to success.
