Join the fun on Maple Weekend, at a Simcoe and District sugar shack! Sugar makers will invite you to share in the centuries-old craft of maple sugaring. Come and talk to the producers. We want to give you a first-hand opportunity to see how maple products are produced, from tree to table, along with the chance to taste and purchase quality maple products.

On June 8, 2024 from 9am-5pm Midland's downtown core and waterfront parks will host 200 vendors and food trucks for Ontario's Best Butter Tart Festival. Vendors sell everything from butter tarts to unique, hand-made items.  And the variety of butter tarts you’ll find at our festival includes plain, raisin, pecan, walnut, skor, maple, bacon, coconut, chocolate covered, PB&J, s’mores, gluten-free, vegan, nut-free, cheesecake, pumpkin...and many more.

 

Travel back in time at the Penetanguishene Centennial Museum! Make your own paper, try your hand at writing with a quill and ink, and other fun activities. For ages 5-12 years old. Guardians are not required to attend with their children. $10.00 per child. Pre-registration is required.

Come to the Penetanguishene Centennial Museum and Archives to make two different crafts and explore the museum through a fun scavenger hunt! Each date has different themes and registration. $5.00 per child. Pre-registration in a timeslot is required.

Event will take place at the Penetanguishene Centennial Museum during the Town of Penetanguishene's Winterama event. It will include over 20 vendors inside the Museum selling their creations. Runs 10:00am to 3:00pm.
