The Youth Wellness Hub is excited to announce an English Conversation Workshop with a pre-Employment Focus for Youth (age 12-25) through the Waypoint Centre for Mental Health Care. They will provide information on pre-employment skills while learning English at the same time.

Learn FOUR production numbers from mega-hit Broadway shows. Performers will receive practical insight into how big musical numbers are rehearsed and performed while they work with professional artists to produce a showcase of hit Broadway songs and scenes. Building on the fundamentals of singing, acting, and movement, students will develop an understanding of reading sheet music, vocal production, choreography and creating dynamic characters within the ensemble. The Final Showcase will be presented on Friday, March 15 at 3:00 p.m.

Join us as we celebrate the outstanding businesswomen in North Simcoe.

A delicious buffet lunch is included. Tickets are only $10 per person with all proceeds going to Operation Grow. Space is limited!

Join the fun on Maple Weekend, at a Simcoe and District sugar shack! Sugar makers will invite you to share in the centuries-old craft of maple sugaring. Come and talk to the producers. We want to give you a first-hand opportunity to see how maple products are produced, from tree to table, along with the chance to taste and purchase quality maple products.

On June 8, 2024 from 9am-5pm Midland's downtown core and waterfront parks will host 200 vendors and food trucks for Ontario's Best Butter Tart Festival. Vendors sell everything from butter tarts to unique, hand-made items.  And the variety of butter tarts you’ll find at our festival includes plain, raisin, pecan, walnut, skor, maple, bacon, coconut, chocolate covered, PB&J, s’mores, gluten-free, vegan, nut-free, cheesecake, pumpkin...and many more.

 

Travel back in time at the Penetanguishene Centennial Museum! Make your own paper, try your hand at writing with a quill and ink, and other fun activities. For ages 5-12 years old. Guardians are not required to attend with their children. $10.00 per child. Pre-registration is required.
