Join us for the annual Terry Fox Run in the Heart of Georgian Bay—a non-competitive walk, run, or bike event in support of cancer research. Inspired by Terry’s Marathon of Hope, this family-friendly community event is a great way to get active and make a difference. Form a team, fundraise together, and rally your friends, family, or coworkers to join the cause. Push yourself, inspire others, and carry Terry’s dream forward—because every step and every dollar raised brings us closer to a world without cancer.
Over the past few years the Wye Marsh stewardship team has been hard at work on a restorative planting plan.
We targeted the removal of INVASIVE species like Buckthorn & Honeysuckle that have taken over our trails.
Now we need YOUR help to fill these spaces back in with NATIVE species!
The overall goal of this restoration project is to return our ecosystem to a healthy, functional state where native species thrive and natural processes are self sustaining.
