
(Tiny, Ontario) Over the period of June 19 to June 21, Township of Tiny By-law Officers were on full patrol responding to calls ranging from roadside debris, noise, and parking.

Fireworks Permitted only on Canada Day!
With the upcoming Canada Day Holiday approaching, the Township of Tiny would like to remind the community that Fireworks By-law 07-054, prohibits the display of and setting off of fireworks outside of Victoria Day, Canada Day, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day. Therefore, the discharge of fireworks is strictly prohibited within the municipality outside of these four days.
Concerns regarding non-compliance and specific details of the address where the violation is occurring can be reported to the Municipal Law Enforcement Department at 705-526-4204. Non-compliance may result in the issuance of a warning, a charge with fines ranging from $365.00 to $100,000.00, or a summons to appear in court
Parking Control By-law:
The Township of Tiny would like to remind the community that parking restrictions supports road safety, traffic flow, accessibility, emergency vehicle access and assists the Township in managing its maintenance standards. Parking Control By-law 20-015, as amended, stipulates a number of parking restrictions within the Township of Tiny. If the vehicle has not been removed within three (3) hours of the first ticket being issued, the vehicle will receive a second parking ticket. Additionally, Officers are legally authorized to order the towing of vehicles, at any point, that are violating the Parking By-law, at any time at the owner’s expense. The below list includes some of the most common violations. No person shall park a vehicle on a highway:

On-site Pay and Display parking machines may be used by anyone by purchasing and displaying a permit on the dashboard of a vehicle. Parking rates are $3.13 per hour, with a minimum $6.25 purchase and a $25.00 per day maximum fee. Pay and Display parking machines accept payments by coins and credit card. Hotspot Parking App:
Residents and visitors are able to use the HotSpot Parking app (available for Apple and Android) to pay for parking, providing users with greater flexibility to make payments, top-up additional time, and receive reminders that time is about to expire.
Veteran Licence Plates:
Vehicles with an Ontario Veteran Licence Plate can park for free at Pay Parking Locations. This exemption does not apply to Permit Parking or No Parking Areas.
