(Tiny, Ontario) Throughout the month of June, the Township of Tiny is promoting the benefits of being active while also recognizing the contributions seniors provide to the life and vibrancy of the community.

Highlights of the month include the Township of Tiny Accessibility and Senior Symposium and free virtual science workshops, offered in both French and English, in partnership with Scientists in School. See the calendar of events for the full month of activities.

Ontario has spectacular parks and recreation services that help to foster personal health, strong communities, and social inclusion. Use this month to explore the Tiny Trail, participate in recreational opportunities, discover the Off-Leash Dog Park, or visit one of our playgrounds.

According to the last Canadian Census (2021), over 50% of the population in the Township of Tiny is over the age of 55. This month, the Township encourages the community to recognize seniors and celebrate the contributions they have made to Tiny and communities across Ontario.
