The Township of Tiny is proud to launch its 2023 National Volunteer Week campaign, a chance to celebrate our volunteers and their collective impact on the community.
The National Volunteer Week theme for 2023 is Volunteering Weaves Us Together. Through volunteering, we experience our interconnectedness, making our lives more meaningful. By getting involved in various ways, we find friendship, develop trust, and link our relationships. Threading these connections, we come to belong as we contribute towards the same goals.

Connecting Through Cooking - An Intergenerational Program

The Township of Tiny is pleased to partner with Chef André Sanche, to present Connecting Through Cooking, an intergenerational program, where young people and older adults can learn to cook and shop for healthy, affordable and accessible food. There’s nothing better than creating a nice, wholesome meal in the kitchen with family or friends! Through a grant from the Province of Ontario, older adults (ages 55+) and youth (ages 8 to 21) can sign up together to enjoy cooking classes.
